East/West Kootenay Zones

Hi Everyone, Next Oct 22nd we will be hosting the E/W Kootnays at Kokanee Creek Provincial Park. I will send out a course map this weekend. We will be running 5 races that day and would like to start at 1:00pm. Please let me know if 1:00pm will be a problem. This time should hopefully work better for teams travelling from the East. The five races and distances will be: 12:00pm Bantam Boys/Girls: 2.5 km *grades 5-7 12:30pm Jr. Girls 4.5 km *grades 8-10 1:00pm Jr. Boys 4.5 km *grades 8-10 1:30pm Sr. Girls 4.5 km *grades 11-12 2:00pm Sr. Boys 6.5 km *grades 11-12 Times are approx. but we will try to stick to the times. We would love to see a BIG bantam race. Please fill your buses with the younger grades if you have room. We will try to have some prizes and make it a fun, annual event. They are our future! Please start having the conversations about PRovincials now. Assume your athletes will qualify. Bantams can NOT qualify. I need your registrations by SUNDAY.
