Thanks Alex for hosting a great race last night at LVR. Great to see runners from Grand Forks, New Denver, Trail, Rossland and Kaslo. Thanks for making the trip! East/West Kootenay Zones

Hi Everyone, Next Oct 22nd we will be hosting the E/W Kootnays at Kokanee Creek Provincial Park. I will send out a course map this weekend. We will be running 5 races that day and would like to start at 1:00pm. Please let me know if 1:00pm will be a problem. This time should hopefully work better for teams travelling from the East. The five races and distances will be: 12:00pm Bantam Boys/Girls: 2.5 km *grades 5-7 12:30pm Jr. Girls 4.5 km *grades 8-10 1:00pm Jr. Boys 4.5 km *grades 8-10 1:30pm Sr. Girls 4.5 km *grades 11-12 2:00pm Sr. Boys 6.5 km *grades 11-12 Times are approx. but we will try to stick to the times. We would love to see a BIG bantam race. Please fill your buses with the younger grades if you have room. We will try to have some prizes and make it a fun, annual event. They are our future! Please start having the conversations about PRovincials now. Assume your athletes will qualify. Bantams can NOT qualify. I need your registrations by SUNDAY. Please send me an excel spreadsheet with 3 columns. Name (ex. Jon Francis) Team (ex. LVR) and Category (ex. Sr. Boys) Thanks, Jon

Hi Everyone, Welcome to the 2014 (shortened) season. We will continue to have races set up on Wednesdays at 4:00pm and will try to fit in 3-4 races before the Zone Championship on Oct 22nd. Please see schedule posted on the right.
